How it works

1. get a prescription from the doctor so that the costs for the made-to-measure gloves can be covered

First, go to your doctor of transit (in the event of an accident at work) or your family doctor and obtain a prescription for custom-made orthopaedic gloves.
The prescription could say, for example, "A pair of made-to-measure gloves after finger amputation". If your fingers are sensitive to cold, the following should be noted on the prescription: " - if possible with integrated heating".

2. fill in the dimension sheet

3. call me, so that I can advise you individually

If you would like to go to a medical supply store you trust, we will of course be happy to name you a specialist dealer near you. We cooperate successfully with partners in Germany, Austria, Belgium and Switzerland.

4. Order directly in our manufactory - alternatively in the medical supply store

After you have decided on gloves from our manufactory and we have received the recipe, we will send all documents to the employers' liability insurance association. This usually takes 3-6 weeks to process your application. You should bear this in mind and place your order with us well in advance of winter.

We take care of the accounting with health insurance or professional association. In most cases an additional payment by the patient is not necessary.

5. dress and feel good

The individually made gloves usually fit like a glove. If they do not fit perfectly as an exception, we will rework the gloves free of charge.

After initial fitting with suitable gloves, we store your exact data. The dimension sheets are archived by us and are the basis for a new order. This saves you precious time, because you do not need to try on and measure your hands again. If a plaster cast has been made, we will store it for you free of charge.
